Make Cash Anywhere with Affiliate Marketing
In 1999, James Martel found that using his desktop computer for marketing could be a lucrative and well-paying business. The method of marketing he follows is called affiliate marketing. For several years, he supported his family of six comfortably and securely using techniques he’s learned and developed.
Then, in 2002, he took the additional step of publishing a downloadable training program for this niche. In 2005 he began giving 3-day “sell-out” BootCamp events. People traveled from as far away as Australia and the UK, paying $3,400 for this training, held at his home in Canada . In 2006 he offered a videotaped version of his BootCamp program to accompany his training manual, and later, a series of weekly classes over the Internet.
Since his first training program in 2002, he has continually updated the materials. His 2006 update ranked as the most complete training available on affiliate marketing. But he didn’t stop there. Later in 2006 he launched a series of interviews with internet marketing experts that he calls “Coffee Talks.” Coffee Talk interviews are available to BootCamp students as part of the curriculum.
Between 2007 and 2008 he added another online training course, Backlinks Workshop, giving extensive training on search engine optimization. Backlinks development is used to gain a top ten ranking in major search engines. He also added a six-part mini-course on backlinks to the BootCamp course in his 2008 update.
A BootCamp home study course is now available in video, audio and by transcript. BootCamp students can access the private chat forum, a semi-monthly live question and answer session and personal coaching sessions. James’ current online program is a series of 26 weekly videos, with homework. Yes, I did say homework.
Each 90-minute lesson is streamable or downloadable, and is an actual recording of a live class recently given to his students. Students also receive written transcripts, so, the program promises to address everyone’s best learning methods. Studies show that people retain 80% of what they learn through the combination of visual, auditory and hands-on practice, as compared to much lower retention rates (as low as 10%) for any individual training method. This technique, coupled with paced learning, proven most effective through research, ensures that you will get the most out of each lesson.
Students have access to several other training and expanded education resources. The private members’ area lets students discuss the lessons and assignments with one another through the Chat Forum. Students share what they’ve learned, obstacles, and solutions, freely. They have access to member posts, about 9,000 at present, available via a searchable database with topics linked by thread. Here you will also find answers James’ has given about strategies for building traffic, improving conversion rates, content development, changes in search engines, keywords, outsourcing, Google analytics and more, as well as comments and suggestions from students.
Every two weeks, Charles Johnston gives half-hour interviews with James designed to keep students and subscribers up-to-date on industry changes. Coffee Talk, mentioned above, includes interviews with over 30 industry experts, and are also available as an additional educational resource. These interviews run 45-90 minutes, with a new interview presented each week.
Twice a month James holds live, 60-90 minute, question and answer “Coaching sessions”, which are also available through the archives. Topics might cover any aspect of affiliate marketing, such as choosing and evaluating profitable topics, increasing traffic and conversion rates, critiques of sites, or any other topics that come up.
AND, there is a full-time help desk that you can call for individual assistance.
Super BootCamp content is never outdated. James continually updates his curriculum, giving you the most up-to-date information about the affiliate marketing industry. This, of course, improves your ability to succeed. Each of the 26 downloadable video lessons runs 45-90 minutes. You also get an MP3 audio of the lesson, playable in your car, on your computer, iPod, etc., and a full written transcript of the lesson. The lesson descriptions are impressive.
If you’ve spent any time on the Internet at all, you’ve come across many “affiliate marketing” pages, and I’d be willing to bet you couldn’t identify most of them as such. If affiliate marketing impressed you in any way as a “boring” line of work, just read through the Super BootCamp lesson outlines. Your pages have so much potential for variety, originality, and such a wide range of methodology that you couldn’t possibly get bored with this line of work.
This brings up an important point. Affiliate marketing is NOT an absentee income resource. You will have to maintain your business, as with any job. But it is a legitimate business, with good income potential, and offers options for either supplemental or full-time income. In an unstable economy, such as we have today, merchants rely heavily on good marketing for survival (offering increasingly more income potential for you.)
Jobs are less secure and employees would be well-advised to set up an additional source of income. It may be your lifesaver until we get over this economic hump. It may offer you a new and more satisfying career. It may just change your life for the better.
James offers a 4-week free trial membership, plus a free lesson you can watch right now. That’s a lot of free training, just for investigating this work-from-home (or anywhere) opportunity. You’ll learn plenty just by looking over his website, which is a real eye-opener about the many income opportunities that pass right under our noses every time we click another link.
